Both PART 1 evening clinics offer classroom training
and videos to learn sensitivity awareness, guiding techniques and terminology.
You only need to attend one of the PART 1 sessions.
Part 2 - On the snow:
Sunday, January 13, 2008, 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Tahoe Donner Cross Country, Truckee, CA
This is a day to practice on the snow the guiding techniques learned in PART 1. You must have attended a PART 1 to participate in Part 2.
Special note: This year, as part of the guide training in Truckee, SRSFL will offer a refresher training for any guides who may be feeling a bit rusty or would like some additional feedback. If you wish to be part of the guide refresher group, sign up for the training and indicate this on your application.
With the uncertain conditions in winter, we advise calling ahead before driving to Truckee.
